What's the most drastic change you've ever made to your appearance?

When I was 20, I shaved my head. Yup. I went form looking like a nondescript big-boned hippie to looking not unlike a 12 year old boy who wore clothes with the word "Husky" on the labels. Thank goodness they didn't have digital cameras back in good ol' 1996. And I was smart enough to burn the negatives.
Part of me misses the shaved head. I've always wanted to do it again except for that now I care if a haircut (or outfit or grooming style) is unflattering. Back then, I was all "appearance means nothing." The less flattering the haircut (or outfit or grooming style) the better as far as I was concerned. The natural self defense mechanism of a chubby girl with body issues.
Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?

Windows because I'm not quite cool enough for a Mac and what's Linux? That penguin software?
This blog design has robots on it. I like robots.
I've been waiting for vox to email me and tell me that I'm finally cool enough to have a vox account with blogging privileges, and not just a vox account of the on-the-outside-looking-in variety. Vox alerted me to no such thing. I guess it's a good thing that I'm super impatient and checked in on my own to see if I had any new navigation tools at the lop of the my you-can-look-but-you-can't-touch vox page. Lo, and behold, I can compose and design! Couldn't do that last week.
